Buyer not coughing up

I sold a dress 8 days ago now, it only sold for a few pounds but I could use the money. I sent 2 invoices and heard nothing so today I sent a message asking the buyer if they still wanted it otherwise I would relist.

I got a reply saying that she normally paid straight away but had no money at the moment and would let me know when she could pay! I am a bit pissed off at the cheek but I also know what it's like to have no money (although I wouldn't be buying myself clothes if I was broke).

Anyway, I've never been in this situation, I'm fairly new to selling- what should I do? My first reaction was to send her a message telling her to jeff off and relisting the dress right away but is there some sort of ebay procedure I should do?

TIA

i would message her and give her X amount of days to pay or you will relist it.
its rude of her to just expect you to wait without contacting you first.

if it has already been 8 days you have been reasonable - you need to decide if youre going to give her chance to pay or be a non-payer with dispute.

Check her feedback as a buyer. If it is good I would e-mail her telling her I will give her another week to pay, or I will open an unpaid item case with eBay. More details here. That way if she still doesn't pay, you will get your final value fee refunded by eBay.
