Packaging

I have just about sold some boots, but have realised that the bags I bought to post them in are a bit to small. I would be concerned that the bag could burst.Would you be happy to receive goods well wrapped in bubble wrap and then in a black bin liner?

Or could any one offer any alternatives, have only added £1.50 for packaging so dont want to be out of pocket.
Thanks

i think i would expect boots to be sent in a box unless was wellies.
I wouldn't mind any old box if it was properly wrapped up and protected.

I think I would expect any adult leather shoes or boots to be sent in a box. For small kid's boots I might use a jiffy bag and stuff boots with bubble wrap. How big are the boots? Would a large cereal box stuffed with bubblewrap work? That would keep the weight down for postage. Having just sent some items in boxes this week, it is amazing how much weight can be added by thick corrugated cardboard.....

Thanks I suppose a box makes sense, its my first time selling therefore a little naive. I think I would rather be a few pounds down as opposed to getting any -ve feedback.
Many thanks
