I won 2 outfits for my dd from the same seller. They were Emile et Rose, probably around £35 each, but i won them for £4 each.
Before i placed a bid i emailed seller asking id they combined postage, as i was bidding on a few more outfits also , they said yes and would send an invoice after bidding ends.
I only won 2 out of the 6 or so i was bidding on, they went all over my max bid (i think was about £10).
The seller sent an invoice with additional charges of £2, so i emailed to ask why, an they said sorry and took £3 off, ( the £2 unknown charge and £1 off postage). Fine by me, i paid straight away with paypal, only to get a message a few days later saying i had sent to the wrong paypal as they had typed it wrong on their listings. So i managed to get a refund for that. The seller refused to give me their correct paypal address saying the only way they would accept payment is if they requested it from my address, so i gave them my one and they didn't send a request for the money. I emailed again asking for their address saying i would send a cheque. So i did, before christmas, and still nothing, the cheque hasn't been cleared, i emailed them, text them, no reply.
IMO it looks like the outfits didn't make as much as what they had wanted, as by the time they had emailed me to say that the paypal they had listed was wrong, the other buyers had already left them feedback saying their items had been received.

What would you do? I am going to see my bank and just get the cheque canceled. It is only £12 but it has been 2 months. My dd is out of most 0-3 clothes.

Not sure what you can do about this. I think you might have to chalk it up to experience.

I would prob neg too.

They have been very clever as they haven't cashed the cheques. If you had paid their registered paypal address then you could have raised a dispute. I wouldn't bother cancelling the cheques and paying for the priviledge - it would be better for you if they did cash them.

I agree that they are trying to avoid sending them to you, I'm guessing they will claim that you did not pay. Did the cheque cover recorded delivery? If not or you didn't request it I would pay extra via paypal for recorded delivery and send an email through ebay telling them you look forward to receiving it soon.

If you don't receive it after you've paid extra for recorded i would raise a dispute.

I just emailed them again, saying i am not happy as i haven't had any kind of communication or any items and i am leaving them negs if i don't hear from them this time.

The postage is 'sellers standard rate' so not recorded. I just sent the cheque with a stamp too so no signed for from me either.

It doesn't bother me so much as it isn't much money, but it is just they are not contacting me and leaving me hanging about.

So they still haven't contacted me, and i emailed them again. Would it be unfair to leave neg now?

nah prammy, plenty of opportunity. report them to ebay too. They shouldn't be asking for you to send to diff addresses, against ebay rules blah blah blah! Neg them!
