Some very strange goings on - should I put the name of the person on here so you can go have a look?

I purchased a DVD on my mums behalf for my Dad (paid through their paypal) on 7th December. We have ordered loads lately and they all come at different times so I wasn't too worried as long as it comes in time for Christmas. I noticed on my summary page however that there is a note underneath it from ebay saying they are no longer registered so I can't leave feedback . They had 100% feedback, some of which was early December so I assumed perhaps they weren't up to date with their fees or something; which happened to us when we had a selling spree last year. So, the next day I noticed they were back as being registered and that people had left new feedback, all of which was positive and good which reassured me. I thought if it doesn't arrive soon I'll message them.

However, they are now 'unregistered' again and somebody has left negative feedback referring to them not receiving the item and saying about them not being registered. They have replied to the feedback saying that they'd had problems with ebay but are back online - obviously not for long!!!

So, how long do you think I should wait before putting in an 'item not received' thing with paypal? I'm an optimist and think it could still turn up but DH thinks I should get my money back and buy it from a shop now that we've run out of postal time.

Wow, that was long, sorry!

The name of the user is: hannah010287 if you're able to view the account...?

TIA

I'd do it now tbh.

The same thing happened to me a while back, a DS game I think. I got my money back. Annoying though

Yes I guess I'll have to , I've been holding back because it means my Dad will know what it is (it's a pressie from Mum) because all the paypal emails go through his emails. I do have access and will try to intercept them, or may even have to tell him so he's aware of it, shame though...!

I just went into the options and it has let me send her a message - whether or not she'll see it is another question I suppose. I'm all for at least giving people a chance but if I don't get a reply by tomorrow evening I'll have to start one of those 'item not received' thingies.

I guess you can't win them all

I have had this before, my item still turned up though. and you can still do a paypal dispute even if they are no longer registered.

Yay, it arrived today!!! Just have to wait for her registration to be sorted out so I can leave feedback at least!

Just goes to prove it pays to be positive , thanks for the comments
