I bought an Xmas present on ebay last Sunday from a massive powerseller with 99.7% feedback last sunday. (although ALL the -ve / nuetrual they have had have been givne in the past month, 79 / 20,000 ish!)

The item is not yet marked as dispatched and i have herd nothing from them. I emailed them on Saturday to see when it might be dispatched / delivered.

I need this as its a Christmas present.

How much longer should i give them, and how do i go about getting my money back? I have paid with paypal, and dont want my 100% feedback dropped but i dont think that they can give me negative feedback can they?

i dont have many more oppertunities between now and Xmas to go shopping and if i am gling to have to go to a real life shop to buy this item then i would sooner get it this week!

Never had any ebay problems before!

Any advice welcome!

I'm still waiting on 2 things I paid for early last week as well. The sellers have 100% feedback so far. I think the post at the moment is a bit hit and miss! They can't give you neg feedback btw.

so annoying...
I sold (and posted) loads of stuff last week, 2nd class, and thankfully it has all arrived safely!

file an item not received and at least you will get your money back

maxybrown · 14/12/2009 18:18

Not yet though as seller has 15 days before item is classed as lost. Have they not contacted you though? That is bad

nannyl · 14/12/2009 19:49

still herd nothing

just this weekend loads of people have added negative feedback saying item not delivered, no communication, emails ignored etc.

im tslking another 80 -ves on top of the 79 (/ 20000) that were there last weekend.
now only 99.5% positive and nearly 30000 scores

i reckon they have done too much in the pre christmas rush and cant keep up.

so i have to wait 15 days.... which takes me to 21st December GRR

so will have to hope what i want is in stock locally on 22nd december nightmare as in loads of places it seems out of stock already

you don't have to wait 15 days. a seller has to wait 15 days before claiming from the royal mail but that has nothing to do with the buyer. File now and they will either let you know what's happening or if you raise to a claim you will get your money back.

maxybrown · 14/12/2009 21:16

yes but seeing as rm don't class something as lost until the 15days are up, surely the seller is ok to ask to wait until then?? Becayuse officially.....well it's not lost

maxybrown · 14/12/2009 21:20

The seller does sound a bit naff, but that aside, sometgings I have bought have been taking over a week to arrive from being posted, other things have arrived next day. Recorded delivery things seem to be taking longer for me. I am missing an item, but my seller has been very communicative and I said to her to wait until the 15 days are up as i thought that fair - albeit she did say something along the lines of refudning me once she has claimed from RM -I think not! but your seller isn't even replying to you. I'd start a claim if you hear nothing from them

nannyl · 14/12/2009 21:36

maxybrown i would be more than happy if they asked me to wait. The sellar has not marked it as dispatched!

i would be delighted if they communicated at all

as i said despite contacting them i have herd nothing at all

Well yes, quite!! That's why I would put a claim in. Email them now and say if i don't hear from you at all in 24 hours I shall have to put in a PP claim etc. How can you see the despatched thing these days btw? Since they changed it all over I have never been able to see it and always wondered!!

nannyl · 14/12/2009 22:14

if i click on 'my ebay' and 'buying' i can see the icons..

ie i can see that i have paid
that they have not (marked as) dispatched
that i have not left feedback
that they have not left me feedback

i emailed again today... will give them til tomo to reply
then i will email again the next day saying communicate wothin 24 hours or i will start a dispute...
hopefully they might at leats respond (though based on the 80 negative feedbacks left in the past 48 hours i wont be holding my breath )

Cor blimey that many? Hmm, i wouldn't hold your breath either! Thanks for that ccan now see the despatched. Although some things not marked which I know have been!

motherlovebone · 15/12/2009 10:33

go to items you have won, its the brown envelope far right.
not all sellers use it though.

nannyl · 15/12/2009 10:53

Thought i would add
This morning i have a recieved a reply saying they HAVE dispatched it (with Royal mail 2nc class so not tracked or recorded, but that was agreed in the sale)
and it has been delivered

I honestly didnt expect to hear from them or recieve it so i am happy!
