Hope i've done it alright, and that people don't think its too expensive but guess will find out soon lol.

How do you judge what to charge for items?

I generally start the prices low (99p so listing is free) - people bid and the price goes up. Unless the sort of item you are selling will only get one bid in which case you should start higher.

You could do an advanced search of completed items to see what similar items have gone for.

I'm selling my daughters coat, only worn a few times and grew out of it so quickly (she has long arms) its next and they have been selling for about £7

Thing is I don't want it to go for just 99p so how do you work out a starting point for things you spent a fortune on didn't get alot of use out of it and would like some sort of rebate but not just 99p iykwim.

list it on a free listing day when it wont cost you to list of it doesnt sell

tbh if someone is happy to pay a fiver for something, even if you start at 99p market forces dictate that it either will sell at the price you want anyway, or if you start it high it might not sell at all
