DS has bought a game from ebay - but the original owner has activated the account you need to play it - it was an online game - so its now rendered useless.

he paid £20 for it.

what are his rights? ive no idea about ebay at all...

can he claim a refund and send it back? he has emailed the seller.

i think it was call of duty - but DS has tried to use it and it says there can only be one account and has already been activated.

he has done some research and its apparently got to be sold with the account, otherwise it is useless.

he has emailed the seller. he paid via paypal so hopefully he will sort it - he hasnt left feedback yet either.

If the seller closes their account for the game it will then work apparently. HTH

thanks ill tell DS! he is gutted! he has just turned 18 yesterday and got his own ebay account set up!
