What shall I do about this?

Basically, I was the winning bidder for 2 tickets to a concert for this Thursday. I emailed the seller beforehand to ask if I could collect the tickets from him, rather than him post them, because I need them as birthday gift for DP on Weds morning. he replied saying that I could collect in person. Since I won (on Friday eve) I have emailed him 3 times, to ask if I should pay via paypal or if he'd prefer cash on collection (to save him the paypal fees). I've had no response at all. I was hoping to collect them from him today. If I don't hear from him by tomorrow morning then I will need to go out and buy DP some other present instead, as I have no time to go out on Tuesday. If he does get back to me tomorrow night and I've bought DP another present, then clearly I can't afford the tickets as well. I don't want to lose my 100% feedback rating either. What would you do?

Maybe he only has Net access during the week (at work, for example) or has gone away for the weekend.

If he posts them on Tuesday and pays extra for "guaranteed next day delivery" you'll get them on DH's birthday and in time for the concert. [hopeful emoticon]

Will DH be devastated if you don't greet him first thing on Wednesday with his pressie, or would he be OK with an explanation and a card?

thanks for your reply. I finally heard from him (them) this morning and it turns out they're a ticket agency. . Say that I can collect the tickets but it's a 2.5 hour round trip (not locally as they had said) and that they will "probably" have them tomorrow. So I have cancelled the purchase, and am pinning all my hopes on getting some more before Weds. His birthday is actually today, but he's away working, so we thought we would have a pretend birthday on Weds instead, which is why I really wanted them for then. Sigh..... thanks for listening to me moaning!
