I bought a pair of boots last winter, I only wore them twice, once to an indoor evening do, ad once for about an hour outside on a dry day. They were slightly too big (I bought them in a hurry!) so I decided to stick them on ebay as I just don't wear them.

They sold last week, I packaged them up and sent them, having checked them thoroughly and made sure they were clean etc. They were immaculate, they still had stickers on them, and there was absolutely no wear on the soles at all. They really were like new.

I got an email from the buyer this morning saying that the boots are lovely, but that she tried them on in the house yesterday and the heel came away from the sole.

I'm a little to say the least!

I will refund her etc, but I'm really unhappy about this, it just doesn't ring true, you know??
