I often get asked but have always said no, but am wondering about doing it. Can you post recorded delivery on internatianal parcels?

International signed for costs a standard £3.70 above the normal fee for a small package....as someone who lives in Italy and had 7 parcels go missing last year alone, I can heartily recommend! I insist on it now when buying....

DP posts abroad and used the post offices airsure service

Yes, I do now.

I posted a similar question a while back and the resounding answer was yes, making sure its recorded.

I think the international buyers are a far more trustworthy lot... or maybe I'm a bit twisted due to some dodgy UK deals recently

I have posted some things abroad. You can limit it to certain areas e.g. EU, or US & Canada etc. if you don't want to go Worldwide. Check who is buying the sort of stuff you are selling before deciding where to post to. For example, I sold some Duplo sets earlier this year and a lot of the people who were buying similar things lived abroad - US and EU. I ended up posting it to a lady in Austria.

I ask buyer to contact me first, though the majority of my items I sell UK only. Posted to the Ukraine once and other countries but only if buyers has contacted me first, was a nice experience. I also am quite upfront about postage, so ask the buyer to wait for amended postage before paying.

Always recorded delivery though, that's crucial.

Thanks that's really helpful. I wasn't sure if you could send recorded delivery internationally
