if you return stuff who pays postage????

just bought something of ebay, plugged it in and nothing so have emailed the seller. Just wondering who should be paying the return postage. It is quite a heavy item so will cost alot to return. any ideas?

They should pay it. They should refund you your original postage and any costs for sending it back.

Same problem here, not a heavy item but have been sent the wrong colour. She's asked me to send it back then she will refund or exchange. Should I ask her to send me a stamped addressed envelope?

by paypal rules if you return you have to pay the cost and you will have to make sure you do recorded so you can prove it was returned. the money you paid for item and post to you will br refunded
