Paypal Ques, E- cheque

Hi, I have verified my paypal account as was buying alot!
However, since then it has started paying ebay sellers with an e-cheque? Why? I have not chosen it to do this (I dont think) I find it a pita as it takes ages to clear out of my account and delays just about everything.
Can I change it at all? I have tried to look for a way on paypal but can't see an option anywhere!

I had this happen to me a few times. Mine I think ,as paypal confuses me , was due to my credit card being out of date so they automatically do echeque depsitet he fact that paypak is paid straight from bank.
