Ah bugger. I know that children's Monsoon stuff sells pretty well on eBay. Have you had a look to see if there is anything similar to give you an idea?

pasturesnew · 01/10/2009 13:47

I think so, I have sold Monsoon on e-bay before and it's been OK

Disenchanted3 · 01/10/2009 13:49

I bought shoes to match too

I've listed it now with the shoes, hopefully someone size 14 with size 5 feet will grab a real bargain!

Disenchanted I have a lovely size 16 Monsoon dress I was considering e-baying actually! It is scoop neck, knee length, fitted waist (lovely fit) black, white & green pattern, would take 50 quid for it as I think it was about 80 originally.

Disenchanted3 · 01/10/2009 15:00

Thanks pastures but I just don't have it.

This one was only £30 from my mate and has the tags still at £135 and have to sell it first.

No I realised after posting soryy that you are already out of pocket on this wedding outfit! You might make a profit on e-bay you know.

LIZS · 01/10/2009 17:11

Have you offered it back to your friend ?

well i suppose if you get £30 for it you haven't lost out. Can you put a pic on here? I have sold monsoon on ebay before and if current season it can do quite well, but nowhere near £135.

Check the monsoon website to see if it is the latest season, then you can say that in your ebay ad.

LIZS · 01/10/2009 17:20

Maybe you should offer to split any profit - she may have let you have it for less as a "friend" or maybe she just wanted to save herself the hassle and would say it's fine.

pasturesnew · 01/10/2009 17:21

mind you this season Monsoon is quite strange on the whole!

Disenchanted3 · 01/10/2009 17:22

photos here, but I honestly don't want any more than £30 for it, just want my pennies back so I can pay for other dress

I can't find it on the site

It is a lovely dress.

Have you done a completed listings on ebay to see if there was anything similar which sold recently to give you an idea?

CarGirl · 01/10/2009 17:26

I think it will sell, Do a £50 BIN with best offer for just the dress, you will need to sell it for £35 to break even after fees

motherlovebone · 02/10/2009 12:41

have you still got the dress?

The shoes are tiny!
