I am so miffed! I have nearly 300 positive feedback - I am a great ebayer - people nornslly leave messages like the best ebayer I have ever dealt with etc as I go out of my way to help people. etc I sold an item to a lady (she has feeback of 3!) Unfortunately the item, a clock, was dropped by my little son before packing and stopped working. I paid to have it look at by jeweller - he could not mend so I told buyer andd immediately refunded £. She has written " damaged before posting and so not dispatched. full refund given-thanks" but given me neutral feedback messing my ratings up - so miffed. As newbe she probably did n't understand. Now I have repair cost, no sale and damaged ratings. Is there anything I can do about this feedback?

"agree-with-me-or-i'll-get-arsey"

I do so wish MN would have that as a topic - would be great!

Stressed will Ebay remove the feedback if you ask?

stressed2007 · 30/09/2009 14:25

No idea yet. I was only getting opinions on here (not trying to start a fight - oops). I may ask them. Consensus (sp?) seems to be it is not that bad. I was trying to highlight that ebay obviously sees it as an issue hence the inability to leave such feedback until after a week.

It's different with powersellers you see. If they get so many neutrals, they could get their powerseller status taken off them.

A nuetral doesnt affect your %, thats should still be 100%. People will only see it if they go & look at your feedback history.

They wont remove it unless it is swearing or has personal/racist remarks. Even if it is total lies, ebay wont remove it! Best you can do is ask your buyer to remove it or revise it herself.

thanks for all your advice.

You can send a request through ebay asking the buyer to revise negative or neutral feedback. In response the buyer can click whether to keep feedback as is or revise it. See the ebay help pages.
