so i sold a double pushchair, winner had bid on several occasions, 43 feedback. next day i contacted to se if they wanted it posting or if they were going to pick up, they said would pick up but next week. fine
the couple days later i get a message saying someone else has been bidding using their account, very sorry etc etc. I dont believe this as both messages seem to be written by same person. so i reply saying basically look at least be honest about it. they then reply they will still buy it as they have committed to it and they are honest- WTF?

I think the buyer is an idiot, and I doubt very much if they will turn up next week to buy the pushchair. How annoying for you!

It soudns as though they have changed their minds but don't want to cause you hassle (now you have sussed them!)

It's up to you. You could agree to mutually cancel the transaction, get your fees back and relist it - or second chance it to the next bidder.

Or you could hold them to the sale.

It depends how kind you are!!

thanks, glad its not just me! i have done a second chance offer but i am not telling the original buyer that- gonna let them sweat a bit!

You can open a non payment dispute and they might get a strike, but once you've offered it to the other person, you prob shouldn't risk it as this means they might suddenly agree to pay and then you are stuck.

You can still go for mutual though
