Over the past few months I have had more than the usual number of buyer complaints. And increasingly, some very nitpicking and wierd ones ie:
One buyer wanted a full refund because her secondhand dress had two inside poppers that were 'not sewn on securely'.
Another buyer complained that a vintage dress I sent her had a sweaty smell. I immediately offerd to send her money for a dry clean, but she wanted me to add a full refund to her paypal account on trust immediatly, BEFORE she posted the dress back to me to examine. When I suggested I needed to see the dress first, she accused me of suspecting she was dishonest. I did eventually get the dress back, after promising her by email I'd refund her, but there was no smell of sweat. I refunded her anyway, as in one day alone she had sent me 6 long, ranting emails about this.
I could go on - I have been selling on ebay for several years and always expect the odd wierdo complainer, but this summer, there's been far more of them.
Anyone else had this?
