Unpaid item 9 days after auction ended

Hi I was wondering what the next step would be, I contacted the buyer 3 days ago asking when I could expect payment. Replied immediately stating that they were away and to expect payment that evening (6 days after auction ended) - fair enough.

3 days later, still nothing. Would you contact again? Or report?

I would report it as unpaid and he'll probably pay up pretty soon.

open a dispute - i bet they pay within the hour

You're not being impatient. I send an invoice (payment details) ASAP after the auction ends, and then send another after three days, and put 'this is a reminder invoice' on it. I then send another invoice after 6 days an say that I will report it as unpaid after 7 days.

Well I'll be doing that in future.... It's a pain in the bum when you've posted everything else that you've sold and only have to go to the post office for that one thing grrr

Aaaahhh and breathe. They've paid now so I'm all calm again.
