Basically had to block someone have had lots of issues with this person but can they still see my listings (will cause even more issues if they can see my listings but then realised I have blocked them from bidding!)

Yes they can!! You can even look at listings without signing in.

NormaSknockers · 14/07/2009 12:02

Sadly yes, all that will happen is if they try to purchase one of your items or bid they'll have a message appear saying that the seller as set up a block preventing them from doing so. (Had to block someone too but thought I'd test out what would happen so blocked my sister & got to test out what happens lol!)

Thankyou for your replies and damn how stupid is that would be easier just to block someone from seeing anything you are listing oh well will see what happens now

Could you set up a new Ebay account? You are allowed to have more than one :-)

Carrotfly · 15/07/2009 17:00

or change your name and hope they dont spot it.

Actually I dont know if this will even work !

eandh · 15/07/2009 17:33

thanks am loathed to set up new account as have 100% positive feedback as a selelr and buyer - can you change your name and transfer your feedback???

You can change your name on your present account but there would be a symbol by your name indicating that you used to be called something else and could view your old names.

FlightHattendant · 11/08/2009 21:33

Oh dear we do have the same sort of problem!

I know even if I changed my ID she'd still want to bid on the stuff, well she might - because it's quite specialised. So no point really...hope you find a way round it.

Pinktshirt · 15/08/2018 10:12

hi even if i opened a new account as you say your old names show up so theres no point really is there? was thinking of doing that but thinking i should keep my old one ..because of the feedback!

Pinktshirt · 15/08/2018 10:17

hi can you hide feedback from being seen ??

ToadOfSadness · 18/08/2018 21:38

Open a new account for selling for a while and use your old one for buying.

When you think you may have shaken her off, go back to the original account for selling. Or sell on both.

Remember, if she tries to buy form you using another id you can report her to Ebay and refuse to sell to her as she is already blocked and it is not allowed.

Thanks that's very useful ..it's annoying that I have to do that but I refuse to stop selling I enjoy it so much!..
