Best place to sell Dutailer glider chair?

Hi,

Bit of an ebay novice and looking for advice....

Bought new a Dutailier Penny Glider chair and matching footstool for ~£450 about 6 years ago, was used for about a year and a half worth of bf and bedtime story reading and has been an ornament in the spare room ever since! (can't believe I shelled out that amount of money for a nursing chair, must have been hormonal!)

Anyway, no room for it now so want to sell, its in excellent condition, do you think ebay is the best route for selling?

Would hope to get around £150-£200 for it, one went for £186 here (although mines is beech/lilac) and found one last week which went for £227 (cant find now!).

If ebay is best route, how much should I start the bidding at? Should I put in a buy it now price too?

Any suggestions on better place to sell?

How about gumtree? Thats local, so you wont have any paypal issues. I sell collection-only items on Gumtree, never on ebay (too many risks)

Sell it on Gumtree - no fees and I bet it will sell straight away.

Where do you live?

I'm in Ayrshire, Scotland. Never heard of Gumtree before, but had a look and will give it a go. Thanks.

Do you think putting it in as £200 ono is a bit ambitious?
