Why does DH's Ebay look new on his computer and mine doesn't?

I was just looking at something on Ebay on DH's laptop and Ebay looks new and different. When you are looking at an item the layout of the screen is different and the time left until the end is live and counting down. Mine looks as it always has done. He says he's done nothing, like updates, for this to happen, and we both use the same user ID/account.

Has anyone else got this new ebay with live time etc, and how can I get mine like that too?

how strange is that, and yes DH isn't the least bit interested either!

I have the same thing... different version at work to the one at home. I did notice a "try internet explorer 8 for eBay" link thingy on the front page so maybe it's just that my home pc isn't as uptodate as the work one...
