What's the highest number of watchers you've had?

I am Ms Smug Git today. I have just sold a rather shabby old Persian rug for which I paid $100 for $520.

By the time it ended, it had 52 watchers. By the time it had 40 I started to worry that it might be terribly valuable so I took it to a specialist antique rug dealer (it wasn't).

Pathetically I feel quite flat now my rug has been collected and all my watchers have melted away.

58, on a pushchair !

101 was for a car though

45 on a travel system. It still went for less than I'd hoped though!

$520 sounds amazing - how much did the rug dealer value it at?

about 30 for some wallpaper

can't exactly remember, but between 30 and 40, and lots of buy it now requests, for dh's old, broken, smelly Action Man figures.

Sold for over £50

then I sold the clothes, which I washed - dh only recently told me he threw up on them when he was young, and his mum NEVER washed them!

I nearly boaked when he told me - I let my kids play with them when they were small, and wondered what the smell was (25 yr old vom)

still, got £15 for them!!

80, for a tricycle...

it was a bit exciting

The posho rug dealer awfully politely said it wasn't something they'd assign any value to because it was just a cheap tourist/export thing to start with about 30 years ago.

Still, the woman who collected it seemed pleased - she wanted an old, thin one so that's what she got.

It was all the buy-it-now requests that got me worried.
