Items with fake labels sewn in!

Bought 2 dresses from a powerseller last week - one was advertised as Monsoon and one JohnRocha.

When they arrived it was apparent that they weren't Monsoon and JR at all - but they had the proper labels sewn in. Both dresses were under £20 and are actually OK - wearable and I will probably keep them, but cheaply made. They'll do for holiday.

But I don't want to give feedback as I think positive feedback would be misleading and it would be like I'm condoning what the seller is doing, but I don't want to give negative because I'm keeping the dresses after all!

I think it's a bloody cheek though. Why not just advertised them the way they are? They are nice dresses. Do I just leave it now or email the seller and say why I won't leave feedback?

I really think you should give negative feedback as you need to let other buyers know. They will keep getting away with it if everyone keeps quiet.

I would report them to ebay as well as leaving neg.

Yes agree with the others. Ok they are nice dresses but not the advertised thing and the label would inflate the price. I used to know a lady who once worked for laura Ashley and she had loads of their labels. Even though she never did she could have inserted LA labels on clothes and sold them like this too.
