UK Seller is based in Hong Kong

Hiya,
We purchased a MP3 Player from a seller based in London.

However,recieved parcel today, and he is actually in Hong Kong.

Whilst the product works, this has really annoyed me.

Anything we can do about it? Is it worth reporting him to ebay. I know we only buy from british sellers (primarily so we know things electrical will work here!).

Not sure.....it might be a scam to make people buy, it might just be that he is like me, (I am English, registered on UK ebay, but currently having a clear out of apartment here in Italy,although I make all that clear on my insertions) If it's a business seller, I'd say it was a bit of a scam as he obviously is out there but wants people to think he's not....

He seems to be a business seller, lots of the same product etc hence why similarily to you, I am thinking it is a bit of a scam.

This has been going on for years and ebay have supposed to have sorted it....yeah right.
It's wrong, tho not sure what you can do. See if there is an option for reporting it.
