Can't change my password

Am going round the bend with this...don't often use ebay, and typed in what I thought was my password..but got it wrong. So i followed the instructions - filled in all the details and got the email addressed to me with my user name, but when I started to fill in the next lot of details with my username (the one they used on their email) it kept saying invalid user name ...seem to be going round in a loop - any ideas?

I had this problem a while ago and when I emailed ebay for help they suggested clearing out my cookies (I'm not a technical whizz but managed to do this and it worked). Don't know if you have access to another computer or not as if you can log on using another computer then it is definitely a cookie problem not an ebay problem.

Oh thanks - how did you contact them? I can only see a place to ask really brief questions to which they just sent me to the password link that didn't work in the first place
