AIBU here? Won an item on 7 April, was the only bidder, won for 99p. Seller stated worth £30plus, £4.50 postage.
Paid on 9 April and received an email a few days later saying that seller been out of town due to a family bereavement, but would post item soon. Sent an email approx 2 weeks later asking whereabouts, whilst sympathising with situation, and told it would be posted in next few days. Still nothing 7 days later, asked for it to be received within next 48 hours. No response so raised a dispute. Received shirty email back, saying seller doesnt need a hard time over a parcel which I only paid a few quid for, and would post last Tuesday but if I required a refund all I had to do was ask. Responded that I would still like the item - still nothing as of today, another 6 days.
Would I be unreasonable in escalating the dispute without further correspondence from my end if it doesnt arrive by this time tommorrow?? Buyer has only very small amount of feedback (a lot less than 100), one negative from buyer saying he waited 5 weeks and not received. Seller reckons lost in post.
