I have contacted the seller. She says she sent them as soon as she received the money. It's been nearly 2 weeks now and nothing has turned up. She had a 96% positive feedback record so I had a quick look at the negatives only to find it was people complaining that their stuff hadn't turned up. She has asked me to give her to the end of the week which I am happy to do but what happens if it hasn't turned up by then?

You wait.....now that I have started this thread it will turn up this morning

she will refund you and then claim off royal mail

Ok is that how it works? Thank you. I will wait and see what happens. She has got quite aggressive in her posts with some of the people leaving negative feedback. I would like to avoid this if possible. Maybe on Friday I should ask her what she suggests should happen now.

96% is pretty rubbish actually for ebay.
Don't worry though about leaving negative if she continues to be arsey. She can't leave you negative as retaliation.

I should have checked before I bought from her In all the years I've used ebay this is the first rotten seller I've come across and if I'd checked in the first place I could have avoided her

Have you tried your local post office/sorting office? They might have your items there if you weren't in when they tried to deliver (I know from personal experience that posties don't always leave a note)

And don't worry - if you paid by Paypal, and the seller didn't send your items via a trackable method, Paypal will always find in your favour, so you'll get your money back if the seller gets arsey.

96% is a terrible feedback score. Open aa paypal dispute straight away.

bubblagirl · 06/05/2009 20:20

see what the 96 % is first what were the negs left as unfortunately with sellers not being able to leave negs now you do get lots of silly people leaving negs for no reason my sister has had her rating ruined by silly people

i saw one saying trousers only had one leg

if seller is responding to your e mails then i wouldn't panic so much check post office inform items there or not there and then give seller chance to respond again if no response then open dispute

McDreamy · 10/05/2009 17:03

Have written to her again today to tell her still no items. Asked her what she wants to do. Neg feedback is all about items not turning up but she has lots of positive feedback from some happy buyers!

If you've checked the post office and you've tried to contact her and she won't refund you then open a Paypal dispute. Keep any emails she sends you an report them to ebay. As someone else pointed out sellers can no longer give a buyer negative feedback. So don't worry!
