If you win something which is collect in person I am presuming you can get a courier service to pick it up and deliver it door-to-door?
How much should I expect to pay and which are good companies to use?
TIA.

Always ask first as items need to be boxed securely and not all sellers are willing to do this or have the time to go round finding suitables boxes. Plus some are scared to arrange courier so always better to do it yourself to the sellers required pick up day.

Usually around £10 for 48hr delivery depending on weight and how far.

You definitely need to ask the seller first. Most sellers say 'collect in person' as they can't/don't want to pack the item and then wait in all day for it to be collected. If you send a courier round this exactly what they have to do.

I use www.collectmyparcel.com £8.75 & used to use www.discountdeliveryuk.co.uk as they are 20p more but still really good. They both use DHL and I use them for all my ebay listings
