No sign of item a fortnight later. What's my next move?

I bought an item 2 weeks ago on Friday. The seller said she was going away for a few days and I said I wasn't in a hurry and could wait until she got back for it to be sent.

Last weekend I emailed to ask if it had been posted and she said she'd only got back and would send it on Monday. Still no sign.

I have emailed yesterday to say I'm a bit nervous that I've paid out and not received my item yet but I've had ne reply so far.

How long would you wait before taking action? I did say I wasn't in a hurry but I think over a fortnight is a bit long

open a dispute - you have given her enough time.
really, it's not on to list items and then go on holiday rather than post them.....

I was thinking I'd give her another 24 hours to respond to my email from yesterday?

What happens in a dispute?

paypal alert the seller you have't recieved your goods ask them for the postage info if none is forthcoming they "investigate"
if the seller provides they check where the parcels are.
and eventually if you don't get your stuff or a refund take money from their account to yours to refund you.

but it can be a bit drawn out sometimes.

She says it's now on its way. Should be here by Wednesday...
