Seller not communicating....

I bought a baby gym 4 days ago, having already asked the seller if I could collect for free instead of paying the £7.50 postage and he said no problem. Immediately after winning it (for the starting price of £20) I requested an invoice and explained in the message I needed one that didn't include postage but have heard nothing since...

I've sent him another polite message but how long should I wait before doing something else? I don't want to end up with negative feedback for non-payment!

thanks in advance....

I would give it a few more days. You can't report for non-payment until 7 days anyway. I would expect a reply tomorrow evening at the latest with it being the bank holiday weekend, they may have gone away (of course they should have said but hey)

Have you checked feedback for anything similar or have they bought or sold anything else in the last day or two, which would show they were around?

I'm having similar problems at the moment, although am expecting item to be posted. I won and paid on the 2nd, have sent 4 emails but havent heard anything.

I would say wait a bit longer as there are probably a few folk that have been away for easter - at least 5 working days?

I would leave it a few more days - they may have been busy having been Easter Weekend

thanks for the speedy advice! I'm not at all in a hurry to collect but just feel a bit uneasy not knowing what's going on especially as I will have to go to the guy's house to get the item - makes it feel a bit more "personal" somehow... He has two other items ending today so hopefully will go online to check on those too.

thanks again - will post again if nothing happens and I have to take it further!

He probably doesnt want paypal on a collected item, as it is very unsafe for him! He, if he knows ebay well, would probably want cash on collection. Why he hasnt emailed you though, i dont know!
