Hi

I have a maxi cosi car seat I want to sell and really need rid of it - dont have a clue who to send it through if I decided to send to a winning bidder instead of collection.

Whats the best courier for sending such item or does anyone know how much it would be to send through royal mail if I packaged it really well?

thanks x

parcels2go.com or is it parcel2go - About £8 will collect from your home or place of work.

I don't have any experience of car seats, but I bought a huge baby backpack carrying thing a couple of years ago, it was pretty huge but came in the post standard parcels.

On ebay though I've noticed car seats tend to be pick up only - personally I'd worry that it might get damaged being thrown around in the post and you need to be so careful when buying 2nd hand car seats in case anything has caused damage that you won't know about till there's an accident.

Hi there I used these to send a carseat
Interparcel as parcel was slightly larger than some couriers will send economy rate.

It was £10 to send, actually delivered by UPS and trackable by number. Would have been delivered next day but buyer wasn't in. No problems delivery attempted and successful the following day.

They do charge more for non-mainland and remoter places.

I got 2 large boxes from a petshop - double boxed and packed very very well. Arrived in excellent condition.

Consider offering collection by buyer!!
