i have bought some bits of some one im going to pay by pp but the seller wants me to pay it as a gift will i still be coverd by pp incase i dont get the items

It depends where you have bought from - if it is ebay DO NOT PAY AS A GIFT as you will get no seller protection. If the item is not sent, or is significantly not as described then no you will have no comeback other than taking seller to small claims court. If it is something say from on here, I always pay by gift or otherwise pay the fees.

Do you know the seller then? Have they posted on here/sold lots? I would not accept paypal without the fees or gift on here or I would take a cheque but if you don't know them it is hard to know what to do. Have you checked if anyone has left them feedback section for anyting else on here they have sold??
