I am new to selling and someone wants to do a buy it now on an article of clothing

There are no bids and watchers one of which I presume is her. Can I do this and if so how?

Yes you can change it to buy it now but make sure you up your price a bit - even if its just a few pence because to change your listing to buy it now will cost you extra and considering the fact you listed it as bids only you could well have had some bids and sold for a lot more anyway. Just go into the listing and select the 'revise' option and go down to the part where you entered your start price at and select buy it now and enter the amount you would be willing to sell as buy it now - then email the person who was asking and let them know you've changed it.
