E-bay is telling me to Claim my payment from paypal????

Just sold a load of re-useable nappies on e-bay. The buyer said the money has cleared on her side (and she is an MN-etter so I know she's telling the truth ) but there is a big 'button' next to the sold item on my e-bay that says 'claim your payment'. It takes me to paypal but has no other instructions. I have no idea what to do? In the past the e-bay buyers money just went into my paypal account automatically.

I wonder if I have confused paypal as I changed e-mail address a while ago. Although my bank is still the same.

I had this when i changed the email my paypal was set up to. I had to claim the payment before doing anything else. I had to set up a new paypal account with the email address and do it like that.

how do i claim the payment? is it the 'request money' option?

I don't think so, as I think that then emails the person to get them to pay. Does it give you the option to get a new account? If not, and requesting money is the only option then maybe it is that? (sorry, probably not much help!!)

update.... I've fixed it. Paypal wouldn't recognise my new e-mail address. I had to add my old e-mail address back onto my account (but not as the primary one) and the money pinged through straight away. What a PITA. I didn't want to use the old e-mail address anyone, there must be a way of changing it somehow .
