I'm on Paypal transaction page, clicked on "issue refund", but apparantly I can only refund equal to what she paid.

How about her return postage - how do I refund that, too?

i wouldn't refund it. she presumably saw the item before she purchased so just refund her what she paid for it

Well, she said the blue I had in my picture isn't the same blue as the top I sent - she seems to think it's more of a grey/green.

Anyway, I agreed to refund her - save the hassle and negative feedback.

But how about the extra couple quid?

I would only refund postage if I was at fault which you weren't - she just decided it wasn't quite right.

I would not refund her postage costs either...but if you really want to and she is under the impression that you would, then the only way you could is if she invoiced you with the postage that it cost her...You would refund the first amount, she would send you the invoice just for her postage costs and you would then pay her the difference that way. Otherwise there is no way to 'refund' a higher amount. Hope that helps!

Hi, if you want you could just send money to her email address, can be any amount you like.

When you are in your paypal acount there is a send money tab next at the top, just follow the instructions. The downside is that if you do the whole amount this way you will not be refunded on your paypal fees.

Refund the money through paypal and then send the extra using the send money link. If you do it as a gift she won't get charged any fees.

The postage is the cost of getting the item to her. If she had bought it in a shop in town and then returned it, the shop would refund the price of the item but not her bus fair in to town to buy it in the first place.
