I'm very new to ebay and still learning! Can anyone tell me how I can list an item in 2 different categories? thanks!

I don't think it will let you as you would need to have two different items to do this.

You definitely can. I'm sure there's a part when you fill in the selling where it says 2nd category.

Thanks for the replies so far. The ebay help file says you can list in 2 categories, but doesn't seem to explain how to actually do it though! Anyone else any ideas?

Have you started doing the selling process?
You can save it before it "goes live" so to speak so if you try then it won't commit you to anything.

Will have a quick look myself.

Bother - just looked and typed and got rid of what I typed by accident

Basically you need to click on sell and put a few words in.

You can either choose categories they suggest or you can click on the browse categories tab and choose a category.

Then at the bottom it has a link to select another category. You do the same thing again.

I think you can only do two categories. I have done sometimes for ie wellies suitable for boys or girls.

Great - thanks.

I've tried that and it works. Think I'll have to restart my listing from scratch!
