Seller silent - is this normal?

I have purchased a pram on ebay (first ebay transaction!) and paid by paypal. the seller had a good rating and sold ++ items. the auction ended on Thurs evening, and we have heard nothing. my dh emailed yesterday asking when they hope to send it as we are going away next weekend, and there is no answer yet
Is this normal and should we just chill and wait, or should I get concerned?!! thanks!

Maybe they are away this weekend? Have a nose at any other items and their profile, you may be able to see if they have accessed a computer to leave feedback, or buy something themselves.

Did they specify a despatch time?

I would email them again tomorrow, I'm sure if they have built up a good profile they won't blow it by ripping someone off.

Give them a chance! You won the item on Thursday evening, so let's just say she despatched it first opportunity ie. Friday morning - weekend may well not be delivery days as is the case with some couriers. Did she specify first or second class? I don't contact buyers before posting out unless I need to. Check on the listing page to see if it's listed as despatched yet (which doesn't mean much if it's not checked, as I frequently forget to check 'despatched' myself, but will tell you something if it is checked)

Thanks for the responses - she got back to us this morning, should receive it by the end of the week, which is fine, just not the 3 days she said!

I would take dispatch within 3 days to mean that it would be posted by tomorrow at the latest so saying that you'll get it by the end of the week allows for the postal service to take a few days to get it to you.

I would agree with FAQ -IMO dispatch in 3 days would mean sent in 3 working days, so in post by tuesday at latest.
