looks like Barbie's, Ken to me

hereidrawtheline · 22/02/2009 13:48

first he came up while I was searching for dragons

and also barbie's ken isnt Kenneth, is he? I didnt know he had so much dignity.

And also I think there are too many joints on him.

Also note he has not been chewed by dog again.

and there are marks where his clothes were taken off?

they are also very sure to point out his hip may need replacing at some point.

Is he not an action man?

hereidrawtheline · 22/02/2009 13:52

he looks too defenceless without clothes to be an action man, surely? And Kenneth? I just didnt have an action man down as Kenneth.

Does this shed any light?

I do wonder what happened to his clothes though! How can he be new if he has no clothes?

Niecie · 22/02/2009 14:01

Makes me laugh that the Americans think that anybody in the UK these days would be called Kenneth!

pramspotter · 22/02/2009 14:10

Um. I work with an english Kenneth.

Flightattendant27 · 22/02/2009 14:10

and the Dr Hilary version

Niecie · 22/02/2009 14:16

Yes, I know, I went to school with Kenneths.

What I mean when naming something or somebody today it would not be a name that many people in the UK would chose.

hereidrawtheline · 22/02/2009 18:00

I am American. And I live here. And Kenneth is clearly around 30 years of age? I dont know Kenneth was probably more common back in the day.

Why is there another nude one, again, not been chewed by a dog? Is this some sort of perversion I am as of yet unaware of? Just somehow reminds me of the used shoes thing.

I had an action man that had been chewed by a dog as a child (my mother banned them so a friend of gave me his old one - had fallen victim to a very bouncy Springer Spaniel). We called him Stumpy and married him off to Sindy.

Wonder if I should dig him out of the loft next time I go round to my Mums and stick him on eBay?

hereidrawtheline · 22/02/2009 18:20

yes edam I am just thinking they protest too much! perhaps naked dog chewed action men is sexy

OP posts:
edam · 22/02/2009 18:27

that's a horrible thought! So, do you think I'd get MORE for Stumpy? Ooh, the giddy heights of maybe a whole British pound?

hereidrawtheline · 22/02/2009 18:28

yes edam I say, aim for the stars! The depths of perversion have yet to be fully tapped so do, tap away!
