Shoudl I lower the reserve?

Have got a settee on ebay at the moment, it's got a lot of interest as is new.

It's on a ten day, is bid up to more than half the buy it now and has a reserve between buy it now and current bid.

There are 40 watchers and it's still got 7 days to go.

Should I lower the reserve so it's met? Or leave it? Worried in case it doesn't sell, although I don't want to come down too much - just not sure if having a reserve will put people off iyswim

TIA

no leave it! 40 watchers and 7 days to go is good!

Flight - sorry, no expert on selling, can't help.

But wanted to mention that, with your help, I won the Heal's chest of drawers I asked Mumsnet's help on. I had a top price of £250 in my head. Got it for £220. Collecting tomorrow, only 20mins from where I live. V happy. Thanks for your advice.

they paypal fees seem to be 3.4%

ebay says for items £600+

8.75% of the initial £29.99 (£2.62) + 5.25% of the initial £30.00 - £599.99 (£29.93) + 1.5% of the remaining balance of the final selling price

does that make sense?

Thanks for looking it up sea, yes have just worked it out roughly - looks like about 50 quid whichever way it goes. Once you hit 600 it's not a lot on top of that.

I've factored it in to the price anyway - not as bad as i thought, I thought it'd be about 10% of total
