I always pack any clothing I sell with tissue, then pop in a mailing bag. I buy all my stuff from ebay. Just pick tissue paper/mail bags, change to buy it now then use the option price+P+P lowest 1st. This way you get the lowest price on the day. Its cheaper if you buy in larger quantities to.

I recycle.

If we buy anything with protective packaging or boxed I flatten out and put it in spare room, also catalogue delivery bags, large envelopes, parcel paper etc. I very rarely pay for packaging apart from parcel tape.

Supermario, you can just recycle packaging, particularly if you buy from eBay as well. Just remember not to bump up the postage too much. I normally add about 50p above the cost of the stamp for the packaging.

For recycled padded envelopes, I re-seal with masking tape and cover it with kraft brown wrapping paper to write the address on. You can get the kraft wrapping paper in big rolls cheaply off eBay.

Or you can buy bubble wrap in large rolls (again off eBay) to wrap the item and pop into a normal big envelope or cover with brown kraft wrapping paper and viola - padded envelope.

That way, you don't have to make sure you buy padded envelopes in the right size.

For clothes, I don't bother to pad them. Just put in a clear plastic bag (again recycled), seal and then pop into a big envelope. Or again, cover with kraft brown wrapping paper.

It actually looks quite nice and neat.

I reuse all my packaging and only charge for the postage.

I reuse packaging, buy the plastic delivery bags from ebay or buy padded envelopes/rolls of brown paper from the pound shop.
I dont know where to get cheap tissue paper from though- was trying to get some for DS1 for arts and crafts and couldnt find any cheap anywhere.
