Am I right about this? (scheduled start time fee)

Can I list something to be scheduled later and pay for 6p scheduling fee, then later (before the listing is due to start) go back and amend the listing to start immediately and have any 6p refunded, without incurring any extra fees? I wouldn't pay to list it twice, would I? (once with the scheduling fee and once without)

I know it seems an odd way to do things but for reasons too long and boring to go into, this is how I find it easiest to list stuff!

Actually, when it says what your current account balance is, is that what you owe eBay, or is it how much in credit you are? That would help me to figure out the above!

Yes you can - this is how I do stuff in advance. The listing fee is applied when it actually goes live.

What if you (for whatever reason) can't get back to edit the listing before it goes live?

when you click on description builder you get the block for the text, and then below that the photos and below that a choice of counters

Argghhhh....found it. I have to be in html view (which I never bother to look out as the WYSIWYG view is much easier to use)

Six - you can schedule up to 3 weeks in advance I think in Ebay. I put a date way in the future to prevent it going live without me knowing. By then hopefully you've got it polished and perfect.

I don't know, would have to check but maybe you can delay it further even - go in and revise the schedule date......

Usually I list pretty simple stuff usually the same stuff too but at the mo I'm doing a one-off listing for my mum - keep popping into it to change and add stuff.

I've never had a problem with the listing going live without me getting back top it - I usually schedule it for about 3 weeks in advance, just in case, and that's plenty of time to get a photo up.

I've never heard of Turbolister - is that any better than just using a template on the basic site?

slightlymad - you should be able to get it in design view - right at the bottom below the photo section ??
