I sold an item on ebay. Now for some reason, ebay keeps defaulting to an old paypal account I had years ago, which now doesnt exist (I asked paypal, and they said the email isnt associated with any account anymore). I have asked her to cancel the payment, explained why, and asked her to send it to my proper paypal account. I asked her on thurs and have not heard anything yet.

What should I do? Can I relist the item? Am I at fault, so should I send it anyway? I have HONESTLY tried to change my associated paypoal account (its the same as my bloody login fgs) but it keeps asking people for payment to my old paypal. All selling comes straight out of my new account!!!

Any advice?

ARGGGH I had this several years ago and they insisted it couldn't happen

Frustrating isn't it. Call Paypal and ask them to transfer and merge the accounts. If you don't claim the payment it would be returned anyway. You could file a NPB against the seller if she doesn't cancel the payment (make sure you've told her HOW to do so, she may not know) and ask her to file payment again against the new address.

She probably thinks you are trying to pull a fast one!

I have tried to add the address to my paypal account, but since I cant get into the email to confirm it, it wont let me!
aaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!!!
And I HAVE changed my default paypal address in ebay, and I pay for EVERYTHING on ebay through paypal.
Why is it doing this?!

non paying bidder - you file a claim with ebay.
