Hi,

Am just about to list a maclaren stroller. Has anyone ever given a postage option on this - I could probably just about do it via Parcelforce based on dimensions.

Any experience?

Yep every time it has cost me more than i expected.

I now take the photos, wrap it for posting and take it down to parcel force so that they can weigh it & see the length. They then tell me the postage costs and I stick all the info on ebay. Its easy for me as I am right near my local parce force. u can probably get the same info online/over phone but I would reccomend checking. Ebayers don't like being over charged for postage, and you don't want to foot the bill either. Good luck with your listing!!

If you happy to stay in I use www.p4d.c.uk they are 6.99 + vat for DHL I usual charge £10 postage to cover the tape I use and a little for my time (staying in all afternoon) also you can book it up until one so only need to stay in in the afternoon

i find that I always sell my pushchairs for more money if i have a postage option

Thanks - I know that I have posted one before - although I had listed it collection only she emailed and asked me to check it out and it was surprisingly cheap (compared to expected).

I want to offer postage as it will get the interest of more buyers, but want to know that I can do it before I offer it.
