please tell me i will get my money back?

Hi, i bought a Next gift voucher on ebay which was listed as a £40 gift card, i went to use it today and it came up as £8 instead of £40 , i have contacted the e-bayer and opened a dispute through paypal, i am now £32 out of pocket and very . Please tell me i will get the money back through paypal?

Should do.... I've just had a paypal dispute resolved and have been fully refunded (it took about 14 days to sort it).

Can Next prove how much is was originally and when money was spent? If so, you should be ok. If not then I don't know!

How awful

It's your word against theirs, so not sure how Paypal will rule.
Could it be a genuine mistake by the seller - what is their feedback like?
How much did you pay for it?
Did you use your Paypal balance, or a credit card to pay via Paypal?
If it was a credit card, contact the company - the transaction may be insured, and they might sort it out for you.

Next have given me a recipt which states how much was on there, i asked them to double check and it still came up the same. The man on the till said someone had used it (so it was £40 originaly)

The seller has 100% feedback but had 2 bad feedback over 12 months ago. They have sold 100 items in 2 years. I hope it was just a mistake and they will refund, i can't aford to be £32 out of pocket as needed the money to clothe the dd's .

Still havn't heard back from the seller , i have started a dispute through paypal.
