So - what do I do now?

Sold an item for collection only & paid with Paypal.

Buyer arranged to collect on Sunday but an hour before they were due to arrive had an email stating their car wouldn't start & could I deliever (they are a 2 hour drive away) to which I said no.

They then emailed again stating they would pay (too right) for delivery. I replied again saying that I could not have delievered as I do not have any packaging for it (the whole point of me listing it as pick up only was so that I didn't have to faff with dismantling it & trying to package it etc etc)

I emailed on Monday asking if they still wished to collect or would they like a refund, no reply.

So I emailed again asking if they would like a refund.

I still haven't heard a word from them & the item is cluttering up the place.

What is the item - could you conceivably pack it (and charge them a couple of quid for your trouble. If you made this offer and they said no then you filed a non paying bidder alert I think it'd be completely fair. But give them 48 hours to respond, it is christmas -they may be away.

I possibly could if I went out & bought loads of packaging.

I don't see why I should have to do that though - the listing was for pick up only specifically so I didn't have to pack it all up.

Also I can't file a non paying bidder as they have paid as I said.

But the terms of sale are COLLECTION ONLY - if they are unwilling to collect they must ask for a refund within 30 days or the item becomes yours.

I've still heard nothing

I've emailed several times now!
