I bought an item on the 12th & paid immediately.

The postage was £10 & just said sellers standard rate, due to item being extremely heavy I just assumed it would be sent via courier.

There's absolutely no sign of the item & the seller isn't responding to my email, I just asked if he could let me know when it would be being sent (I emailed yesterday morning so has had plenty of time to reply).

Normally I wouldn't worry but it's my Nana who's bought (she gave me the money for it) & it's £65 so we're not talking peanuts.

The seller does have 100% feedback but he hasn't sold anything in the last 90 days.

Now I know that Royal Snail are sloooooooooow at this time of year but I'm not convinced that's how it would be sent.

So WDID?? Do I email again?? Do I open a claim (I can do this in another day or so)

I just feel so bad as my Nana only has a small pension

It's only a week. Quite long but not outrageous, especially at this time of year. I would certainly email again, politely, to ask when it was sent as you're a little worried it hasn't arrived yet, but I think you need to wait longer before opening a claim.

Two of my ebay parcels took a month to come even though it was clear, when they arrived, they'd been posted the day after I bought them. It was all the fault of my sorting office so I was really glad I hadn't been rude to the sellers or overly impatient.

I have one standard parcel still outstanding sent on 1/12
I am also waiting for my purchases sent 10/12 up to 13/12 none have arrived as yet!
I think it's too soon to open a dispute.

I just wish I knew how it was being posted.

If I knew for certain it was coming via RM I wouldn't be worried but it's extremely heavy & would cost more then I paid for postage to be sent via RM so that's why I kind of thought it would be coming via courier....
