Is there any point at all listing between now and Christmas?

I've started a bit of a clearout but realised it's probably not the best time of year to be listing - does anything sell at this time of the year? Also are prices attained usually lower at the beginning of the year because the market is flooded/sales are on/everyone is broke?

It depends what you're selling, is it the kind of stuff that could be given as christmas presents?

I'm selling console games at the moment and they're selling really well, but I assume it's people buying them as christmas presents. I'd imagine new year is a worse time to start selling personally.

I've stopped listing at the moment as its very slow. Everyone is broke. It doesn't get any better until about Feb, when the sales have ended and people have a bit more money. The bonus of listing at the moment is a lot of people are thinking the same thing, therefore there is less on, so less competition. I think generally speaking if you are not desperate for the cash you're best to wait.
