I'm a bit of a novice ebay seller & am currently selling a few things so after some advice please. Have had two different people email me about two different items (selling total of 4 things) wanting to buy the items now. What do you do? Do you take the items off ebay? I didn't think you were allowed to do that. Also one of the people wants to come & see one of the items, to be honest I can't really be bothered with that & also thought a bit weird, isn't it?
Interested to hear what you ebay experts think about this!
Many thanks

You can add a buy it now, option to your listing as long as there are no bids onit, just make sure you check the completed listings, so that you get a fair price.

As regards to the other person wanting to come and have a look at the item, i dont see anything wrong with this tbh, is it a high value item?

with regards to bin it would depend how many watchers i have as usually those wanting bin want something cheaper than it will usually go for.
However at this time of year if they want it foe xmas present then they could genuinely want to complete transaction to get item it time.
If they are paying what you are prepared to accept then the decision lies with you.
I would add a bin option and tell buyer you are doing this so you are still protected.
If you don't want a buyer coming round that's fair enough as long as you have pic and good description it's up to them if they bid.
However i wouldn't think it's weird but bit hard to tell without knowing what item is.

depends how many watchers you have
I usually let auction run as when I get BIN offers i usually have loads of watchers and it goes well.
I have had a few people want to view items (sofa, mattress) which I said was fine but no one actually came.

Thanks for all your responses. It's just a (used though only a few times) buggy board. Whilst only has 1 bid it does have 6 people watching it. And as it has a bid I guess that means I can't add the buy it now option doesn't it?
With 6 watchers that probably means it should get another bid I would have thought, esp from what you say.
Thanks again, much appreciated!

You will probably get quite a lot for a buggy board. If I were you I would let the auction run anyway.

Buggy boards sell well on ebay, so i would let the auction run.
I think it is fine if people want to come and have a look at it. If it is in good condition then generally people will be willing to bid more for something they have actually examined, than something they have just seen a picture of.

Thanks again for your help! And fair enough, it is hard to tell just from a pic how good an item actually is. Found it difficult taking a shot that showed it well, not much of a photographer! Thanks!
