Can you have a look at this listing for me.

I was expecting it to come with no paper, as the seller has stated in the listing, but was expecting it to come with ink. I cannot see anywhere that it says there is no ink with it - just that you can buy more in from amazon. Am I being unreasonable to be peed off that it has arrived with no ink??? I've contacted the seller who says he stated there was no ink with it?!?

I wanted it as a cheap xmas pressie for DD to print out some piccies from her new camera on xmas day, I was going to buy some cheap photo paper from Asdas, but I didn't want to have to spend another £15 on ink to make it work!

I'm a bit confused as well - the listing definitely says no paper, and then says paper and ink can be bought from amazon, but says it is £11.99 for 40 sheets, which sounds like only paper.

Saying that ink can be bought sounds like it might not have ink with it, but it isn't clear.

He did not state it would have ink with it unfortunately - you would needed to have asked. Ink is really dear now - my fantastic new printer cost £39.99 - the ink replacements for all 4 cartridges is £24.99. All the money the companies make appears to be in the ink now.

I have one of these. The paper and ink tend to come together in one package, so if you bought the paper you would get the ink as well.

He says no paper why doesn't he say no ink too?

That why I assumed there was ink with it - he should have said no paper or ink. I'm not going to be able to return it as to send it back tracked would cost more than I paid for the printed and postage to start with.

I would email him to complain before you leave feedback - maybe ask for a partial refund?

I have an Olympus photo printer and the ink comes with the paper. It costs about £15 but it lasts quite a while because I only use it for photos I need quicker than Truprint can print and send them! Maybe all photo printers are the same - ink and paper come together.

He really hasn't made it very clear.

Im guessing now with hindsight that was his intention. He was very specific about one consumable being missing, but neglected to mention anything about the other. To me by putting 'no paper' and then 'ink and paper can be purchased from amazon for xxx' ment there was ink but not paper, and you could get more of both from amazon. He needed to write no ink or paper, so that I knew it would cost me more to get the printer running. It did seem like a bargin, I guess now I know why!
