Selling my old maclaren - local free ads vs ebay plus how much would a courier cost?

I've never sold a buggy before but my new quest has arrived so the old one needs to go

Is ebay best? collection only?

What about timing? Is January a bad time to sell stuff?

A courier will be around £8, i think january will be better than now to sell. Which model is it? as some do better than others ie xt,xlr are v.popular. Why not try the local classified first as they are usually free and you wont have to worry about couriers
