PLEASE HELP

hi i sold my first item on ebay and i stated collection only due to size when the auction finished the seller paid in full so i emailed her to arrange collection and no reply i have emailed again but still no reply what should i do and also i found out she lives in bedfordshire and im in essex so i dont think she will be collecting please help x

ould be that she only has limited internet access (maybe through library or friends computer?) When did the auction end?

Also she may have family/friends near you who'll collect for her (I sold a brand new car seat and the persons fil collected it as he was about 20mins away and they were going to visit the buyer the next weekend)

funny thing i just checked my ebay and i have a message from her saying where is my parcel but i cant send it and i did state that so would shoud i do

I would message her saying it was collection only. If she can't collect, cut your losses and refund her and keep a certain amount back to cover listing fees / final value fees. I think that's reasonable. Silly cow hould read the description properly

do a mutual withdraw from sale - you will get your fees back that way.
make sure you refund via the refund button and not send payment button

Depends how much listing fees and final value fees are - would need to look it up as it depends on price of item. But I would keep double back as you'll have to re-list it. Did she pay by pay-pal? If so, you can do a partial refund and you will then get a partial refund of paypal fees as well.

The other option is to get her to arrange collection via a courier....I've done that before.....paid for it myself and arranged for collection from the address of the seller.

Or you could send it, and give her a quote for postage and add a few pounds on for your time. Clearly you couldn't send it until she had paid....make sure its trackable though.

littlemissnorty - you can't take money off people like that. A refund is a refund - full. A mutual withdraw gives the seller the fees back and a paypal refund gives the seller the paypal fees back.

Yes you do meandbump - if the buyer opens an item not recieved dispute Paypal will automatically refund her.

You need to issue a full refund via Paypal so that it shows as a refund then open mutual dispute so that you can get all your fees back.
